Salem Bouajila: Finland-born Tunisia forward joins Muglaspor on loan from Goztepe

Teenage centre-forward Salem Bouajila, a dual national of Tunisia and Finland, has joined Muglaspor on loan from Goztepe for the 2026-27 season.

The 18-year-old left-footed striker moves to the 1.Lig side after recently stepping up to Goztepe’s senior squad from their youth ranks. The loan agreement runs until 30 June 2027, after which Bouajila is scheduled to return to the Super Lig club.

Standing at 1.95m, Bouajila arrives in Mugla with senior and youth experience across several countries despite his age. Born in Helsinki on 1 August 2007, he developed in HJK’s system in Finland before progressing to HJK Klubi 04, then spending time on loan with SV Ried II in Austria.

Bouajila moved from HJK Klubi 04 to Goztepe earlier this summer after a productive spell in youth football. Across his recent youth and reserve campaigns he delivered a strong scoring return, including 14 goals in 19 appearances in the U19 Super Lig and further strikes in youth league play-offs and Austria’s Jugendliga.

He has also had a taste of senior football, making brief appearances in the Super Lig and featuring in Finland’s Ykkosliiga and domestic cup competitions, giving Muglaspor a forward who has already sampled first-team environments in different leagues.

With a current market value listed at €200,000 and a contract at Goztepe running beyond his loan, Bouajila joins Muglaspor as a temporary addition to their attack for the 2026-27 campaign.
