Jamal Iddrissou: Wolfsburg eye move for Inter U23’s Italy-Ghana forward

Jamal Iddrissou, the Italy-Ghana centre-forward currently at Inter U23, is being linked with a move to German side Wolfsburg as the 2. Bundesliga club assess attacking options for the new season.

The 18-year-old, under contract with Inter’s U23 team until 30 June 2030, has emerged on the radar of the German club after progressing rapidly through the Nerazzurri’s youth structure in recent years. Born in Brescia and standing at 1.88m, he operates through the middle and is predominantly right-footed.

Iddrissou only joined Inter U23 this summer after stepping up from the club’s U20s on 1 July 2026, having previously advanced year on year from the U17s and U18s. His form at youth level has drawn particular attention, with a standout campaign featuring six goals and one assist in 11 Primavera 1 appearances, supplemented by six goals in eight UEFA Youth League outings.

Inter currently value the forward at around €900,000, a figure that provides a reference point as Wolfsburg consider how to structure any potential deal. The length of his new contract leaves the Italian club in a strong negotiating position and means any agreement is likely to require a firm commitment from the 2. Bundesliga side.

Iddrissou has already been exposed to senior football with minutes in Serie C Group A, adding competitive experience to his record in domestic youth competitions and finals. Having only just been promoted into Inter’s U23 set-up, he remains tied to the Milan club on a long-term basis, with no agreement yet in place over a move to Germany.
