Jamal Iddrissou: Inter U23’s Italy-Ghana forward linked with 1.FC Koln move
Jamal Iddrissou, the Italy-Ghana centre-forward currently at Inter U23, is attracting interest from Bundesliga side 1.FC Koln in what would be the first senior move of his career. The 18-year-old is under contract with Inter’s U23 team until 30 June 2030, so any deal is expected to involve a fee, with his current valuation understood to be around €900,000.
Koln’s interest comes after Iddrissou’s rapid rise through Inter’s youth structure, culminating in his promotion to the club’s U23 set-up at the start of the 2026-27 season. Born in Brescia and standing at 1.88m, he has progressed year-on-year from Inter’s youth ranks to the U17s, U18s, U20s and now the U23 squad.
Iddrissou’s goalscoring record at youth level has been a key factor in drawing attention from abroad. He scored 19 goals in 33 Under-18 appearances, earning recognition as the second highest goalscorer in the 2024-25 campaign, and has also impressed in the UEFA Youth League with six goals in eight matches. Those returns have been complemented by productive spells in Primavera 1 and its end-of-season play-off fixtures.
The forward was part of the Inter side that lifted the Primavera Italian Supercoppa in 2025-26, adding silverware to his individual numbers and underlining his impact in high-profile youth matches. Having only joined Inter U23 officially on 1 July 2026, he is viewed internally as a long-term asset, which could complicate any negotiation.
For now, Iddrissou remains contracted to Inter U23, with Koln monitoring his situation as they weigh up whether to test the Italians’ resolve during the current window.
