Nigerian football giants Kano Pillars have officially unveiled Daniel Ogunmodede as the club’s new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.

The experienced tactician was presented at the club’s secretariat, where he was welcomed by the club’s hierarchy as Kano Pillars begin preparations for the new campaign. The appointment marks the start of a new chapter for the four-time NPFL champions as they seek to return to the summit of Nigerian football.

Ogunmodede arrives at Kano Pillars with an impressive coaching résumé, having established himself as one of Nigeria’s most highly regarded managers.
