Adam El Ouarat: Franco-Moroccan winger joins AC Le Pontet Vedene on free transfer from O Elvas U19
Franco-Moroccan winger Adam El Ouarat has joined AC Le Pontet Vedene on a free transfer from Portuguese side O Elvas U19. The 19-year-old right-sided attacker returns to French football as he links up with the National 3 club.
El Ouarat, who was born in Avignon and stands at 1.77m, plays primarily as a right winger and favours his left foot. His move back to AC Le Pontet Vedene marks a homecoming of sorts, having previously come through the youth ranks at the club before leaving as a teenager.
The switch follows a season in Portugal with O Elvas U19, which he joined from Montpelliers under-19 setup in August 2025, also on a free transfer. Before that, he progressed through Montpelliers youth system after leaving AC Pontets youth ranks in 2022.
El Ouarats recent record includes 20 appearances and three goals in the French National U19 Group D competition, along with two goals in four Coupe Gambardella matches, underlining his experience in youth football prior to his move abroad. He has also featured in National 3, making an appearance at that level and gaining senior competitive minutes.
Having signed for AC Le Pontet Vedene on 12 July 2026, El Ouarat now embarks on the next stage of his career back in his home region on a permanent free transfer.
