Youssef Fawzi: Egyptian winger joins Kafr Elzayat on loan from El Mahalla
Egyptian right winger Youssef Fawzi has joined Kafr Elzayat on loan from Premier League side El Mahalla. The 24-year-old makes the move within Egyptian football as he looks to secure regular minutes and a more prominent role in the new campaign.
Fawzi switches to Kafr Elzayat having been on the books at El Mahalla, where he operated primarily on the right flank. The deal is a straight loan transfer, giving Kafr Elzayat short-term reinforcement in wide areas while allowing El Mahalla to retain his registration.
Capable of stretching play and operating from the wing, Fawzi adds depth and competition in attacking positions for his new club. At 24, he arrives with senior experience and the scope to slot immediately into matchday squads rather than being treated as a developmental option.
The wingers market value is currently assessed at around 25,000, underlining Kafr Elzayats decision to strengthen with a player whose profile fits their level and ambitions. His move also reflects El Mahallas willingness to let him gain further experience elsewhere rather than remain on the fringes.
Fawzi, who holds Egyptian nationality and is in his midtwenties, will now aim to convert this switch into consistent playing time and influence performances from the right side of the attack.
The confirmed loan transfer sees Fawzi registered as a Kafr Elzayat player for the current spell, joining from El Mahalla as a right winger option.
