Ammar Abdelhak: Tunisia left-back, 19, steps up to Club Africain first team on long-term deal

Tunisia defender Ammar Abdelhak has joined Club Africains senior side from C. Africain U19, signing a long-term contract with the Tunis-based giants.

The 19-year-old left-back makes the jump from the youth ranks into the first-team squad after finalising his move on 12 July 2026. Abdelhaks new deal runs until 30 June 2031, tying him to Club Africain for the next five seasons as he begins his professional career in Ligue 1.

Born on 11 January 2007, Abdelhak has progressed through the clubs academy structure and now links up with the senior group as a specialist left-back. His elevation reflects Club Africains decision to draw directly from their youth set-up to reinforce their defensive options for the 2026-27 campaign.

The move also ends Abdelhaks time at C. Africain U19, where he has been developed as a defender capable of operating on the left side of the back line. His promotion ensures continuity between the clubs youth and senior systems, with the player remaining within the same organisation but stepping into top-flight football.

Abdelhak will now be available for selection in Ligue 1 as he begins life as a fully contracted first-team player at Club Africain.
