Nacim Dendani: Tunisian-French winger joins RFC Liege on free transfer from Monaco U21
RFC Liege have signed Tunisian-French winger Nacim Dendani from Monaco U21 on a free transfer, with the 20-year-old agreeing a contract until 30 June 2028.
The left-footed right winger, born in Ajaccio on 30 April 2006, makes the move to the Challenger Pro League after spending his entire youth career in Monacos system. His switch gives Liege a long-term attacking option on the flank as they prepare for the new campaign.
Dendani progressed through Monacos age groups, moving from the U17s to U19s in 2022 before stepping up to the U21 side in 2025. He now leaves France for Belgium in what is the first overseas move of his career.
At youth level, he built up a solid record in French competitions, making 39 appearances with nine goals and one assist in the National U19 Group D, and scoring four times in six matches in the Coupe Gambardella. He also featured in the UEFA Youth League, gaining experience against continental opposition.
Dendani was part of the AS Monaco U19 squad that won the French Youth Cup in the 2022-23 season, the standout achievement of his time in the Principality. His performances there underlined his ability to contribute in decisive knockout matches.
The winger, who holds both Tunisian and French nationality, joins RFC Liege on a permanent basis following the expiry of his Monaco deal, committing to the Belgian club for the next two seasons.
