Ittihad Tanger sign German-Bosnian striker Senad Jarovic to boost attack
Moroccan Botola Pro side Ittihad Tanger have officially announced the signing of German striker Senad Jarovic as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old forward, who is of Bosnian descent, arrives with extensive experience in European football and is expected to add firepower to Ittihad Tanger’s frontline as the club looks to build a competitive team for the new campaign.
His arrival reflects Ittihad Tanger’s ambition to improve their attacking options with an experienced striker capable of delivering goals consistently.
Jarovic has enjoyed a well-travelled professional career, featuring in several European leagues. During his time on the continent, he played for clubs in Slovenia, Denmark and Slovakia, gaining valuable experience in different footballing environments before his most recent spell with Kosovar outfit Gjilani.
Across his professional career, the powerful striker has scored more than 60 goals, earning a reputation as a reliable finisher with an eye for goal. His ability to find the back of the net, combined with his physical presence, made him an attractive target for the Moroccan club.
Jarovic is expected to offer Ittihad Tanger a different attacking dimension. His height makes him a significant aerial threat inside the penalty area, while his strength and hold-up play should provide the team with an important focal point in attack.
Ittihad Tanger are confident that the German-Bosnian forward’s experience in European competitions and his proven goal-scoring record will help improve the team’s offensive output as they seek a stronger showing in the Botola Pro this season.
Jarovic becomes Ittihad Tanger’s third signing of the current summer transfer window as the club continues to reshape its squad under its recruitment strategy.
Before completing the deal for the experienced striker, Ittihad Tanger had already secured the services of Senegalese forward Babacar Sarr and Botswana international midfielder Gabi Mo, signalling the club’s determination to strengthen key areas of the team.
With pre-season preparations already underway, expectations will be high for Jarovic to settle quickly and justify the confidence shown in him by the club’s management. His arrival is seen as another important step in Ittihad Tanger’s efforts to assemble a squad capable of competing consistently in Morocco’s top flight during the upcoming season.
