Lohann Doucet: Paris FC midfielder linked with move to Vitoria Guimaraes
Paris FCs Franco-Burkinabe midfielder Lohann Doucet is being linked with a summer move to Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes as the Liga Portugal club explore options to strengthen their midfield.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder, who represents both Burkina Faso and France at nationality level, is under contract with Paris FC until 30 June 2027 but is attracting interest after establishing himself across Frances top two tiers. Guimaraes are understood to be monitoring his situation closely as they assess affordable options in the market.
Doucets current market value stands at around 500,000, a figure that could make him a comparatively low-cost target for a club seeking depth at the base of midfield. He joined Paris FC permanently from Nantes in July 2024 for a 300,000 fee, having previously spent the 202324 season on loan in the capital.
The Nantes-born midfielder has already accumulated significant senior experience, with over 70 Ligue 2 appearances and additional minutes in Ligue 1, as well as outings in the Coupe de France. In the second half of last season he also spent a loan spell at USL Dunkerque, returning to Paris FC at the end of the campaign.
Doucet was part of the Nantes squad that lifted the Coupe de France in the 202122 season, adding a notable domestic trophy to his record at an early stage in his career.
For now, Paris FC retain control over the players future with a year remaining on his deal beyond the coming season, leaving any potential move to Guimaraes dependent on the French clubs willingness to negotiate a fee.
