Wolves reject Fiorentina approach for Tolu Arokodare
Fiorentina have been turned away by Wolves in their attempt to sign Tolu Arokodare, with the English club unwilling to open the door for a deal.
Fabrizio Romano reports that the Serie A side had identified the Nigerian forward as a serious option to strengthen Fabio Grosso’s attack, but Wolves made their position clear and rejected the approach.
The 26-year-old is also not pushing to leave, which makes the situation even more difficult for Fiorentina. Trabzonspor have already failed with their own attempt to land him, so the Italian club are now facing a crowded and frustrating chase.
Fiorentina remain active in the market as they look for attacking reinforcements, yet Arokodare has quickly emerged as one of the hardest targets on their list.
Arokodare’s time at Wolves has been steady rather than spectacular, but he has shown flashes of value. He made his debut in a 1-0 Premier League defeat to Newcastle United on 14 September 2025 and later found better form in the EFL Cup, scoring twice in two appearances. Those goals came against Everton and Chelsea, offering a reminder of his potential even as league production remained limited.
