Justin Njinmah transfer latest: German-Nigerian winger linked with Werder Bremen exit amid interest from abroad
Werder Bremen right winger Justin Njinmah, the German-Nigerian forward, is being linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club, with interest emerging from clubs outside Germany as his future at the Weserstadion comes under scrutiny.
The 25-year-old, who represents Bremen as his national club and was born in Hamburg, has seen his reputation grow in recent seasons, with his current market value standing at around 5m as of late May 2026. That valuation and his age have attracted attention from suitors looking for a wide attacker capable of operating on the right flank.
Njinmah has amassed 84 Bundesliga appearances for Bremen, contributing 14 goals and six assists, underlining his status as a regular part of their attacking rotation. Earlier in his career he was a prolific scorer in the lower tiers, notably registering 18 goals in 50 outings in the 3. Liga and a further 18 goals in 29 matches in the Regionalliga Nord, numbers that first brought him to wider prominence.
Bremen initially integrated Njinmah into their first-team structure in January 2022 after a spell with their second team and a loan to Borussia Dortmund II, where his form accelerated his path into top-flight football. His preferred role as a right-sided attacker and his right-footed profile have made him a flexible option in the final third.
With no publicly defined contract end date at Bremen, the structure of any potential deal and how strongly the club can hold out for a substantial fee remains a central element of the ongoing speculation over his next move.
