Cesar Lobi Manzoki: Central African Republic striker returns to Vipers from Eastern District
Cesar Lobi Manzoki has sealed a return to Ugandan side Vipers, with the Central African Republic and DR Congo forward rejoining the club from Hong Kong Premier League outfit Eastern District. The 29-year-old centre-forward has signed a deal running until 30 June 2028.
Manzoki heads back to Vipers having left the club in 2022 for Chinese side DL Pro, before subsequent spells in the UAE, India and Hong Kong. His move ends a one-season stay at Eastern District, whom he joined after a short period without a club.
Standing at 1.89m and preferring to play through the middle, Manzoki brings significant top-flight and continental experience to the Uganda Premier League side. Across his club career he has featured in domestic leagues in China, the UAE, India and Hong Kong, as well as in both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.
During his time abroad he registered regular minutes in a range of competitions, including 35 appearances and 10 goals in the Chinese Super League, and further outings in the UAE Pro League and Indian Super League. He also gained additional cup experience in Hong Kong and China.
Manzoki previously joined Vipers from AS Vita Club in 2020 after emerging in DR Congo with Dauphin Noir and Maniema. His new contract ties him to the Ugandan club for the next two seasons, confirming his latest move as a long-term commitment.
