Hazem Haj-Hassen: Tunisian-Algerian forward joins Al-Nasr SC on free transfer from Al-Yarmouk

Tunisian-Algerian centre-forward Hazem Haj-Hassen has joined Al-Nasr SC of Kuwait on a free transfer from domestic rivals Al-Yarmouk SC. The 30-year-old switches clubs within the Kuwaiti game and will lead the line for Al-Nasr after his contract with Al-Yarmouk came to an end.

Haj-Hassen, who is eligible to represent both Tunisia and Algeria, adds experience to Al-Nasrs attacking options. Primarily a centre-forward, he arrives at a stage of his career where his profile and know-how in the final third are expected to strengthen the squads offensive structure.

The move keeps Haj-Hassen in Kuwaiti football following his spell with Al-Yarmouk, where he had established himself in the first-team set-up. His performances there have secured him another opportunity at the same level, this time with a club aiming to push on with a refreshed forward line.

At 30, Haj-Hassen brings a blend of maturity and physical presence to his new side, having spent recent seasons operating in senior professional football. The decision to move on a free transfer also underlines Al-Nasrs strategy of targeting experienced players without a fee commitment.

Haj-Hassens registration at Al-Nasr SC is complete, confirming his status as the clubs latest attacking signing.
