Mohamed Abdelnaser: Egyptian goalkeeper joins Mostakbal Sport on free transfer
Egyptian goalkeeper Mohamed Abdelnaser has joined Mostakbal Sport on a free transfer from Tersana, signing a contract with the club until 30 June 2028. The 23-year-old moves across the Egyptian game after leaving Tersana at the end of the 2025-26 campaign.
Abdelnaser, who was born on 15 April 2003, arrives at Mostakbal Sport as a senior goalkeeping option following his progression through the ranks at Tersana. He had previously stepped up from Tersanas youth set-up in 2022, making the transition from Tersana FC U21 to the clubs first team.
The deal, completed on 11 July 2026, continues a steady rise for Abdelnaser, whose main position is in goal and who has spent his entire career to date in Egyptian football. Moving on a free transfer allows Mostakbal Sport to add depth in a key position without paying a fee.
Abdelnasers switch also marks the first move of his professional career away from Tersana, where he had been on the books for several years. His new contract gives Mostakbal Sport security over his future for the next two seasons, covering the 2026-27 and 2027-28 campaigns.
The goalkeeper is now officially registered as a Mostakbal Sport player and will be available for selection under his new deal through to the summer of 2028.
