Chippa United settle outstanding payments owed to former coach Luc Eymael

South African Premier Division side Chippa United have resolved their financial dispute with former head coach Luc Eymael after clearing all outstanding payments owed to the Belgian tactician.

The club has confirmed that all pending financial obligations relating to Eymael’s tenure have now been settled, bringing an end to the matter that had been referred to football authorities.

Chippa United’s legal representatives are expected to submit proof of payment to both FIFA and the South African Football Association (SAFA) as evidence that the club has fulfilled its obligations.

The dispute had placed the Eastern Cape-based club under scrutiny, with FIFA and SAFA monitoring the situation following the outstanding claims raised by Eymael.

With the payments now completed, Chippa United are set to avoid any further disciplinary action that could have been imposed by the governing bodies.

Eymael, an experienced coach who has worked across several African leagues, had a brief spell in charge of Chippa United before his departure.

The resolution allows the club to focus fully on preparations for the upcoming season while ensuring compliance with football regulations regarding contractual agreements with coaches and players.
