Fritz Joseph: Comoros-French right-back joins GC Lucciana on free transfer from AAS Sarcelles
Comoros-French defender Fritz Joseph has joined GC Lucciana on a free transfer from AAS Sarcelles, strengthening the Corsican clubs options at right-back ahead of the new campaign.
The 22-year-old, born in Sarcelles on the outskirts of Paris, moves after a year with AAS Sarcelles, who had themselves picked him up without a fee from FC Bobignys B team in 2025. His switch to Lucciana is a permanent deal, completed on 10 July 2026.
Primarily a right-back, Joseph has built his early career across the French lower divisions and youth structures. He emerged from the US Torcy system, progressing from their under-19 side into the B team in 2022 before earning a move to Bobigny and then on to Sarcelles.
Josephs most substantial playing time to date has come at under-19 level in National U19 Group B, where he made 25 appearances and accumulated more than 2,200 minutes on the pitch. He has also featured in National 1 Group C and the Coupe de France, gaining senior experience across league and cup competitions.
Comfortable operating on the right side of defence, Josephs arrival gives GC Lucciana additional depth in the back line as they shape their squad for the 2026-27 season. The move also marks his first step away from the Paris region since leaving his hometown club.
Joseph, who holds both Comoros and French nationality, links up with Gallia Club Lucciana FC following the completion of his free transfer from AAS Sarcelles on 10 July 2026.
