Lamine Yamal spent €45,000 on gifts for girlfriend at World Cup
Spain forward Lamine Yamal has found himself at the centre of attention off the pitch after Spanish media reported that he gifted his girlfriend, Inés García, luxury jewellery worth an estimated €45,000 during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
According to reports, the Barcelona teenager presented García with two expensive necklaces while representing Spain at the tournament, drawing widespread interest from fans and the media.
Reports detail luxury gifts
Spanish outlet El Des Marques claimed Yamal first gave his girlfriend a necklace valued at around €30,000.
The report said García was seen wearing the jewellery in the stands while supporting Spain during their World Cup matches, attracting attention from spectators and television cameras.
It also claimed the winger later gifted her a second necklace bearing his initials, “LY”, reportedly worth €15,000.
The combined value of the two pieces of jewellery was estimated at approximately €45,000.
Focus remains on first World Cup
The reported gifts have generated discussion away from the football, with Yamal continuing to attract significant media attention both on and off the pitch.
The 2026 tournament marks the young forward’s first FIFA World Cup, with Spain relying on one of the game’s brightest emerging talents as they pursue global success.
While the reports have fuelled debate on social media, Yamal remains focused on establishing himself on football’s biggest stage as Spain continue their quest for the world title.
