Ali Sulieman: Eritrean forward at Kahraba linked with Bank El Ahly move in Egyptian Premier League rumour

Ali Sulieman, the Eritrean centre-forward currently at Kahraba, has been linked with a move to fellow Egyptian Premier League side Bank El Ahly as clubs weigh up attacking reinforcements for the new campaign. The 26-year-old, valued at around 800,000, has emerged as a potential target after a prolific spell since arriving in Egypt last summer.

Sulieman joined Kahraba from Ethiopian side Hawasa Ketema on a free transfer in August 2025 and has quickly established himself as a key figure in their attack. In league action he has produced 18 goals and one assist in 27 Premier League appearances, underlining his impact as a central striker. That form has been complemented by five goals in six Egyptian League Cup outings, reinforcing his reputation as a consistent scorer in domestic competition.

Before moving to Egypt, Sulieman was a standout in the Ethiopian Premier League, finishing as the divisions top scorer in successive seasons in 2023/24 and 2024/25, with 20 and then 18 goals. Born in Senafe in 2000 and standing at 1.68m, the left-footed forward has built his game around operating through the middle, and his recent scoring record has drawn increasing attention from clubs within the region.

Kahraba do not have a publicly stated contract end date for Sulieman, a factor that could influence negotiations if Bank El Ahly decide to formalise their interest in the Eritrean striker.
