Sekou Kante: Spain-Senegal midfielder joins At. Tordesillas on free transfer from Astorga

Spain-Senegal midfielder Sekou Kante has joined At. Tordesillas on a free transfer from Astorga, signing a deal with the Segunda Federacion Group V side until 30 June 2027.

The 26-year-old central midfielder moves across the same division after a short spell at Astorga, where he arrived in January 2026 following a period without a club. His switch to Tordesillas is a permanent move and comes with his current market value listed at 25,000.

Kante, who stands at 1.92m, operates primarily as a central midfielder and adds physical presence and experience to the Tordesillas midfield. He has already featured in the Segunda Federacion system, making 17 appearances and providing one assist in Group I, accumulating 1,267 minutes of football at that level.

Before his time with Astorga, Kantes career included stints at GCE Villaralbo and Palencia CF, having also played for CD Carinena, CD Tarancon, CD Pedroneras, CD Madridejos and CD Montcada in the Spanish lower leagues. His move to Astorga at the start of 2026 followed six months after leaving Villaralbo.

Kante now commits his immediate future to At. Tordesillas, who have secured the midfielder on a free transfer for the 2026-27 campaign.
