Pneu Flavio: Angolan winger joins Al-Minaa SC from Zakho SC in Iraq Stars League move

Angolan winger Pneu Flavio has joined Al-Mina’a SC from fellow Iraq Stars League side Zakho SC, strengthening the Basra clubs attacking options on the left flank. The 23-year-old, who prefers to operate as a left winger cutting in from the right foot, makes the switch within Iraqs top flight after establishing himself in the division last season.

Flavio arrives at Al-Mina’a with a growing reputation following a solid campaign in the Iraq Stars League, where he featured 34 times, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Across league and cup competitions, he accumulated more than 2,400 minutes, underlining his status as a regular starter at Zakho.

Born in Huambo and standing at 1.76m, the Angolan wideman first moved into Iraqi football with Zakho SC in August 2025 after leaving C.R.D. Libolo. Shortly after that transfer he joined Amanat Baghdad SC on loan for the 2025-26 season, before returning to Zakho at the end of that spell.

His latest move keeps him in a league he already knows well, but offers a new environment and fresh competition for places. With a current market value listed at 250,000, Flavio represents a notable acquisition for Al-Mina’a as they look to add pace and directness on the wings.

The transfer, completed on 10 July 2026, sees Flavio officially registered as an Al-Mina’a SC player ahead of the new Iraq Stars League campaign.
