Issiaka Toure: Franco-Ivorian goalkeeper joins Aubagne Air Bel on free transfer

France and Ivory Coast goalkeeper Issiaka Toure has joined Aubagne Air Bel on a free transfer from Saint-Etienne B.

The 21-year-old, born in Paris and standing at 1.94m, moves to the Ligue 3 side after three years in the professional structures of French football, where he has been developing as a goalkeeper in youth and reserve team environments.

Toure arrives at Aubagne Air Bel after spending the last campaign with Saint-Etiennes B team, having previously come through the youth ranks at Toulouse. He left Toulouses under-19 set-up in 2023 to sign for Saint-Etienne B, also on a free transfer.

Capable of commanding his area thanks to his height and presence, Toure represents a youthful addition in goal for Aubagne Air Bel as they shape their squad for the new season. His dual eligibility for France and Ivory Coast adds further international profile to the clubs ranks, although he has so far built his reputation entirely in the French system.

The move marks Toures first step away from the reserve-team pathway into a senior environment outside the traditional academy structure, with Aubagne Air Bel securing the goalkeeper on a free as he seeks the next phase of his career.
