Junior Dina Ebimbe: Hull City eye move for Frankfurt midfielder in 6m deal

Hull City are exploring a move for French-Cameroonian midfielder Junior Dina Ebimbe from Eintracht Frankfurt as they look to bolster their squad for the Premier League. The 25-year-old, who is under contract with the Bundesliga side until 30 June 2027, has been linked with a switch to England with a deal likely to reflect his current 6m valuation.

Dina Ebimbe, primarily a right midfielder, returned to Frankfurt this summer after a season-long loan at Stade Brestois and now faces an uncertain future as the German club weigh up interest from abroad. Hull are understood to be targeting players with top-flight European experience, and the former Paris Saint-Germain player fits that profile having featured in both the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

Since moving permanently to Frankfurt from PSG in July 2023 for a 6.5m fee, Dina Ebimbe has delivered consistently from midfield, registering eight goals and six assists in 57 Bundesliga appearances. He has also shown an eye for goal in European competition, scoring three times and adding two assists in eight Conference League outings for the German side.

Born in Stains and standing at 1.84m, Dina Ebimbe has operated mainly on the right but is comfortable across midfield, a versatility that adds to his appeal. He was part of PSGs Ligue 1 title-winning squad in 2021-22 before establishing himself as a regular in Germany.

With Frankfurt not under immediate pressure to sell given the length of his contract, Hull may need to present a compelling offer to persuade the Bundesliga club to enter formal negotiations over a transfer.
