J. Villenavaise have added Central African Republic and French winger Enzo Grothe to their squad, signing the 21-year-old on a free transfer from Lege Cap-Ferret.

Grothe, who was born in Cenon and is primarily deployed as a right winger, joins the club after a season with the National 2 side, which he had also joined on a free in 2025. His move continues a rapid rise through the French system after emerging from the Bordeaux academy structure and gaining experience across youth and senior levels.

The attacker has already accumulated competitive minutes in the French pyramid, including games in National 2 and a brief taste of Ligue 2 football. Across his time in youth and reserve competitions, he has passed the 60-appearance mark, contributing goals in National U19, National 2 and cup competitions.

Grothes route to J. Villenavaise has been eventful in recent seasons. After leaving Bordeauxs under-19 team in 2023, he stepped up to the clubs B side before a short spell without a club in 2024. He then re-established himself at SM Caen B, again arriving as a free agent, before switching to Lege Cap-Ferret.

Now settled at J. Villenavaise following his latest move on 8 July 2026, Grothe will aim to convert his experience across Frances lower divisions into a regular attacking role for his new club.
