Nael Tyrner: Franco-Comorian goalkeeper joins SR Colmar on free transfer
Franco-Comorian goalkeeper Nael Tyrner has joined SR Colmar on a free transfer from Cavigal U19, becoming the latest addition to the French clubs squad. The 19-year-old moves after leaving the youth set-up at Cavigal to take his first step into senior football with the Colmar side.
Tyrner, born in Nice on 5 February 2007, has signed on as a goalkeeper for SR Colmar after coming through the ranks at Cavigals under-19 team. The move, completed on 9 July 2026, sees him swap youth football for a role with a national-level club in France.
Standing at 1.85m and preferring his right foot, Tyrner offers a physically imposing presence in goal for his new side. His dual nationality of France and Comoros gives him potential international options later in his career, while SR Colmar provides a platform for his development in the senior game.
Having been attached to Cavigal until this summer, the free transfer gives SR Colmar an extra option between the posts without a transfer fee. Tyrner now links up with his new team as they prepare for the 2026-27 campaign, with his move to SR Colmar officially completed on a free.
