French-Malian forward Bonota Traore has joined Paris 13 Atletico on a free transfer from Swiss side Etoile Carouge.

The 23-year-old centre-forward switches to the Ligue 3 club after a spell in Switzerland that included time in the Challenge League and a loan to French outfit Quevilly-Rouen Metropole (QRM).

Traore, born in Massy and standing at 1.81m, arrives as a right-footed attacking option through the middle, with Paris 13 Atletico adding a player whose recent senior experience spans both French and Swiss football. His move is recorded as a free transfer, with his market value currently listed at 150,000.

The striker first left France in 2024 when he departed Toulouses reserve side, Toulouse B, to sign for Etoile Carouge. He went on to feature in the Swiss second tier and the Swiss Cup before returning to France on loan with QRM in January 2026. That loan ended in June, with Traore then returning briefly to Etoile Carouge prior to his move to Paris 13 Atletico.

Traores most productive spell in front of goal came earlier in his career in Frances fifth tier, where he hit 20 goals in 33 appearances in National 3 Occitanie. He later added further senior experience in National 1 Group A, scoring seven times in 11 outings.

Having now committed his future to Paris 13 Atletico, Traore becomes the latest attacking recruit to join the Ligue 3 club on a permanent deal.
