Cluver Sambi Mbungu: Franco-Congolese midfielder joins Olympique Lyonnais B on free transfer

Teenage midfielder Cluver Sambi Mbungu has joined Olympique Lyonnais B on a free transfer from SM Caen B. The 17-year-old, who holds both DR Congo and French nationality, moves across France to link up with Lyons reserve side.

Operating primarily as a central midfielder, Sambi Mbungu has been part of the set-up at SM Caen B, featuring in the clubs secondary team structure. His switch to Lyon places him within one of the countrys most renowned development environments, where the B team serves as a key stepping stone towards senior football.
