Norway-DR Congo winger Josias King Furaha has left Czech side Karvina and is now a free agent after his contract with the ChNL club came to an end. The 23-year-old, who operates primarily as a left winger, has officially departed on 9 July 2026 and is currently without a club.

Furaha joined Karvina in January 2026 on a free transfer from Norwegian side Jerv, seeking game time outside his home country after several seasons in the Norwegian league system. His short spell in the Czech Republic followed a career built largely in Norways lower divisions, where he has featured both in the OBOS-ligaen and the PostNord-ligaen.

The right-footed wide player has amassed 68 appearances, 19 goals and four assists in the PostNord-ligaen, underlining his attacking output from the flank across more than 3,500 minutes in the competition. He also has experience in Norways second tier, the OBOS-ligaen, where he made 19 appearances and recorded one assist, as well as featuring in the NM Cup.

Born on 5 May 2003 and standing 1.77m tall, Furahas career has taken in spells with Grorud and Moss, including loan moves between the two clubs early in his senior career, before a permanent switch to Jerv in March 2023. A subsequent loan at Fly was converted back when he returned to Jerv at the end of 2023, ahead of his move to Karvina.

Furaha now departs Karvina as a free agent, bringing his time with the Czech club to a close and confirming his status as without club ahead of the new season.
