Ryan Fosso, the Swiss-Cameroonian defensive midfielder currently at Sturm Graz, is being linked with a move to Serie A side Torino as the Italians assess midfield options for the new season.

The 24-year-old, who can represent both Cameroon and Switzerland and was born in Lugano, only joined Sturm Graz in January 2026 from Dutch club Fortuna Sittard for a reported fee of 900,000. His market value has since risen to around 2 million, a figure likely to frame any negotiations between the Austrian Bundesliga club and Torino.

Fosso has already featured in the Austrian top flight, making appearances in the Bundesliga and in European competition with Sturm Graz, including Conference League and qualifying matches. Prior to moving to Austria, he amassed significant experience in the Eredivisie with Fortuna Sittard, playing 47 league games in the Netherlands, and earlier built his senior career in the Swiss system and with FC Vaduz in the Challenge League.

During his time in Liechtenstein, Fosso collected silverware as a two-time Liechtenstein Cup winner with FC Vaduz in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons, adding to a Swiss U18 championship medal from his youth days at BSC Young Boys. Primarily a right-footed holding midfielder, he has also contributed sporadically in front of goal, including a strike in the Austrian Bundesliga and goals in domestic cup competitions.

Fossos contract length at Sturm Graz has not been made public, but with his value at a career-high and Torino exploring the market, the Austrian club could face a decision if a formal offer arrives.
