Antonio Nusa: Napoli eye move for Norway winger from RB Leipzig
Norway winger Antonio Nusa, currently at RB Leipzig, is being linked with a move to Serie A side Napoli as the Italian club explore options to strengthen their wide areas. The 21-year-old, who also has Nigerian nationality, is valued at around 32 million and has emerged as a potential target following his development in the Bundesliga.
Nusa joined Leipzig from Club Brugge in August 2024 and has since continued the sharp rise in his valuation that began during his time in Belgium. His market value climbed from 1.5 million as a 16-year-old at Brugge to 20 million by October 2023, before further increases in Germany saw it reach 32 million by the end of 2025 and remain at that level into the current year.
The left winger, who prefers to operate on the left side of the attack but is right-footed, has developed a reputation in Germany for his ability to play wide and attack defenders, attributes that appeal to Napoli as they consider refreshing their forward line. Born in Langhus in April 2005 and standing at 1.83m, he moved from Norwegian side Stabk to Brugge in 2021 before making the step up to one of the Bundesligas leading clubs.
Leipzig view Nusa as part of their attacking group, and with no imminent contract expiry reported, any deal is expected to require a significant fee in line with his current valuation. For now, Napolis interest remains at the rumour stage, with the Italian club monitoring the wingers situation in Germany ahead of potential negotiations.
