Ismael Loret Soukouna: Franco-Malian US Orleans Midfielder Linked with FC Annecy Move

France- and Mali-eligible midfielder Ismael Loret Soukouna of US Orleans U18 is being linked with a move to Ligue 2 side FC Annecy as the Alpine club assess emerging options for their midfield. The 17-year-old central midfielder has attracted interest after breaking through at under-18 level with Orleans and is understood to be on Annecys radar as they plan for upcoming seasons.

Born in Aubervilliers in August 2008, Loret Soukouna stands at 1.80m and operates primarily as a central midfielder, favouring his right foot. He joined the US Orleans youth setup from CChartres in 2024 before stepping up from the clubs U17s to the U18 squad at the start of the 2025-26 season.

This season he has featured regularly in the National U19 Group A competition, making 11 appearances and scoring two goals, accumulating 814 minutes of action. He has also appeared in the Coupe Gambardella, where he has added further experience in knockout competition.
