Antonio Nusa: Arsenal linked with move for Norway winger from RB Leipzig

Arsenal are being linked with a move for Norway winger Antonio Nusa, who currently plays for RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. The 21-year-old, who also has Nigerian nationality, is under contract with the German club until 30 June 2029 but has emerged as a potential target for the Premier League side.

Nusa joined Leipzig from Club Brugge on 13 August 2024 in a deal worth 21m, having already built a reputation in Belgium. His development in Germany has coincided with a rise in his international profile, featuring for Norway at the 2026 World Cup, where he made five appearances and scored once.

Arsenals interest comes at a time when Nusas market value has climbed to around 32m, reflecting his progress since leaving Norway as a teenager. A right-footed left winger, he has worn the number 7 shirt at Leipzig and has been used regularly enough to start the majority of matches for his national team at the World Cup.

Before moving to the Bundesliga, Nusa won the Belgian title twice with Club Brugge, including in the 2023-24 season, and lifted the Belgian Super Cup in 2022-23, adding early silverware to his CV. His trajectory from Langhus to domestic success in Belgium and a major tournament appearance has increased interest from leading European clubs.

With Leipzig in a strong position due to the length of his current deal running to 2029, any negotiations with Arsenal would be expected to require a significant fee close to his current valuation, and there is no indication yet that the German club are prepared to sell.
