Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas set to begin pre-season ahead of 2026/27 football campaign

Reigning Ivorian Ligue 1 champions ASEC Mimosas have officially returned to training as they begin preparations for the new season, with their sights set on defending their domestic title and making a strong impact in the CAF Champions League.

The Mimosas squad resumed activities on Wednesday, 8 July, following a short break after a successful campaign. Players and members of the technical team reported back to the club’s training centre in Gboro Gbata, where preparations for the upcoming season officially got underway.
