Bonota Traore: Franco-Malian forward linked with Paris 13 Atletico move from Etoile Carouge
Franco-Malian centre-forward Bonota Traore of Swiss side Etoile Carouge is being linked with a move to French club Paris 13 Atletico in Ligue 3. The 23-year-old, who was born in Massy and represents both France and Mali at nationality level, is attracting interest as the Parisian outfit look to bolster their attacking options for the new campaign.
Traore has a current market valuation of around 150,000, a figure that reflects his progress since leaving Toulouses youth set-up for Switzerland in 2024. Any deal would see him return to French football after a spell that has included experience in the Swiss Challenge League and domestic cup competition with Etoile Carouge.
The forward joined Etoile Carouge from Toulouses reserve side in July 2024 and has since gained regular senior minutes. He also had a loan stint at Quevilly-Rouen Metropole during the 2025-26 season, before returning to the Swiss club at the end of that spell. His record in Frances lower tiers includes an impressive 20 goals in 33 appearances in the N3 Occitanie competition, alongside a productive run in National 1 Group A, where he scored seven times in 11 outings.
Traore is primarily a right-footed centre-forward, standing at 1.81m, and is viewed as a player with experience across French and Swiss systems. With his contract situation at Etoile Carouge not publicly detailed, it remains unclear whether any prospective move to Paris 13 Atletico would involve a fee or a more flexible negotiation structure.
