Kingsley Olufade: Franco-Togolese teenager swaps Lille for Strasbourg B on free transfer
Franco-Togolese striker Kingsley Olufade has joined Racing Strasbourg B on a free transfer from LOSC Lille U19. The 18-year-old, who was born in Lille and can represent both France and Togo, makes the move across eastern France as he steps up from youth football into a senior reserve-team environment.
Olufade links up with Strasbourgs second string after a productive campaign at under-19 level with Lille, where he featured regularly through the middle of the attack. Operating primarily as a centre-forward, he scored seven goals in 32 league appearances in the National U19 Group A last season, adding a further strike in the Coupe Gambardella.
His performances earned him a brief introduction to senior football with Lilles National 2 side, where he made one appearance. Strasbourg B will now provide the platform for his next stage of development in the French system, with the forward expected to compete in the clubs reserve and youth structure.
Olufade has been part of Lilles set-up since 2019, when he arrived from local side US Lesquin. He progressed through the clubs youth ranks from the academy to the U17s and then the U19s, featuring consistently at each age group before deciding on a new chapter in Alsace.
The move, completed as a free transfer, sees Olufade officially registered with Racing Strasbourg B from 9 July 2026.
