Omar Correia: Pisa eye move for Juve Stabias French-Senegalese midfielder
Omar Correia, the French-Senegalese defensive midfielder currently at Juve Stabia, is being linked with a move to Serie B rivals Pisa. The 26-year-old, whose contract with the Castellammare club runs until 30 June 2028, has emerged as a target as Pisa look to strengthen the spine of their squad.
Correia joined Juve Stabia on 1 September 2025 from Triestina in a deal worth 1.1 million, and his importance has grown quickly enough for his estimated value to rise to around 1.5 million by early June 2026. Standing at 1.87m and operating primarily as a holding midfielder, he has become a central figure in Juve Stabias attempts to establish themselves in Serie B.
Born in Evreux on 10 April 2000 and naturally right-footed, Correia came through the youth ranks at Le Havre before a series of moves across France, Slovenia and Italy took him from Le Havres academy sides to Entente SSG, Versailles, Paris Saint-Germains B team and then Koper, prior to his switch to Triestina in 2023.
Pisas interest comes despite Correias long-term deal at Juve Stabia, which theoretically keeps him tied to the club for another two seasons beyond this one. With no release clause publicly indicated and Juve Stabia under no immediate pressure to sell, any approach from Pisa would be expected to test the clubs resolve to part with a player acquired relatively recently for a significant fee.
