Yazid Faffa: AS FAR Rabat sign Moroccan winger on free transfer from RCA Zemamra

AS FAR Rabat have signed Moroccan left winger Yazid Faffa from Botola Pro rivals RCA Zemamra on a free transfer. The 25-year-old moves within the Moroccan top flight after his contract with Zemamra ended, joining the Rabat giants ahead of the new campaign.

Faffa, a right-footed attacker who operates primarily from the left flank, arrives at AS FAR with growing top-flight experience. He featured 49 times in the Botola Pro Inwi, scoring seven goals and providing three assists, accumulating just over 3,000 minutes of league football.

The Casablanca-born wingers performances in domestic competition have also included five appearances in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine and outings in the Excellence Cup, where he added an assist. His versatility in attacking areas and familiarity with the league add depth to AS FARs forward options.

Before his spell at Zemamra, Faffa played for Fath Casablanca, having stepped up to senior football after leaving Wydad ACs youth set-up. He was part of the Wydad Casablanca squad that secured the Moroccan league title in the 2021-22 season, giving him experience in a winning environment early in his career.

Faffa, who stands at 1.69m, joins AS FAR Rabat with a current estimated market value of 500,000 and will continue his career in the Botola Pro Inwi with the capital club following the completion of his free transfer from RCA Zemamra.
