Ibrahim Olaosebikan: Arsimi sign Nigerian attacking midfielder on free transfer from Vardar

Arsimi have signed Nigerian attacking midfielder Ibrahim Olaosebikan from Prva liga rivals Vardar on a free transfer. The 26-year-old joins the North Macedonian top-flight side after his contract with Vardar ended, moving across the division without a fee.

Left-footed and standing at 1.85m, Olaosebikan is expected to operate in his preferred role in attacking midfield for his new club. He arrives at Arsimi with experience in European competition pathways, having been registered for UEFA Champions League qualifying fixtures in the 2026-27 campaign.

Olaosebikan spent last season with Vardar, having also joined them as a free agent in the 2025-26 season following a spell at Brera Strumica. His career to date has largely been built through successive free transfers, allowing him to move regularly in search of opportunities across different leagues.

Before his time in North Macedonia, the Nigerian played in Lithuania with Hegelmann and later Suduva, developing his career in the Baltic region after leaving Real Sapphire in 2021. His market value was last assessed at 75,000 in June 2026, reflecting his status as an established professional in smaller European leagues.

Olaosebikan has yet to feature in the current UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign but is available for selection as Arsimi prepare for their upcoming fixtures. The move sees Arsimi add an experienced attacking option to their midfield on a free transfer from domestic rivals Vardar.
