Emile Acquah: Notts County sign centre-forward from Dundee FC on permanent deal
Notts County have signed centre-forward Emile Acquah from Dundee FC on a permanent deal, with the 25-year-old agreeing a contract at Meadow Lane until 30 June 2028.
Acquah moves to the League One club after a year on the books at Dundee, where he also spent part of last season back in England with Harrogate Town. The London-born forward, who is eligible to represent both England and Ghana, is right-footed and stands at 1.91m, adding a physical option at the top end of the pitch for his new side.
The striker has extensive experience across the lower divisions in England and Scotland, having made 134 appearances in League Two with 16 goals and two assists, as well as 76 outings and 15 goals in the National League. He has also featured in League One and the Scottish Premiership, giving him a broad grounding in senior football on both sides of the border.
Acquah first joined Dundee from Barrow in July 2025 before switching on loan to Harrogate Town in January 2026, a move that became permanent when his spell in Scotland ended in May. Earlier in his career he came through the ranks at Southend United, with loans at Harlow and Maidenhead United before establishing himself in the English professional game.
The forwards current market valuation stands at around 200,000, and he now links up with Notts County ahead of the new League One campaign under a deal running for the next two seasons.
