Amine Naifi: Franco-Moroccan winger linked with FC Ingolstadt move
Franco-Moroccan winger Amine Naifi, currently without a club after leaving 1. FC Saarbrucken, is being linked with a move to 3. Liga side FC Ingolstadt as the Bavarian club assess attacking options for the new season.
Naifi, 26, became a free agent on 1 July 2026 following the end of his spell at Saarbrucken, making him an attainable target for Ingolstadt, who would not have to pay a transfer fee. The left-sided attacker is valued at around 175,000 and is understood to be on the radar of clubs operating at 3. Liga level.
The former Saarbrucken and Differdange 03 player has experience in Germanys third tier, registering 45 appearances, seven goals and four assists in the 3. Liga. His ability to operate on the left flank and use both feet is thought to appeal to recruiters looking for flexible wide options.
Naifi enjoyed a productive spell in Luxembourg with Differdange 03, where he won the national championship and the domestic cup, and also featured in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying. He later returned to Saarbrucken, initially on loan in 2023 before making the move permanent in 2024 for a reported 75,000 fee.
Earlier in his career, the 1.83m winger built his reputation in the French lower divisions, notably in National 3, before earning moves abroad. He has also delivered in domestic cup competitions, including goals and assists in both the DFB-Pokal and Luxembourgs Coupe de Luxembourg.
With Naifi currently unattached and assessing his next step, any agreement with Ingolstadt would be expected to take the form of a free transfer.
