Nake Youssouf: GC Lucciana sign Comoros-French centre-back on free transfer from Rodez AF B

GC Lucciana have signed centre-back Nake Youssouf from Rodez AF B on a free transfer. The 20-year-old defender finalised his move to the Corsican club on 8 July 2026, joining on a permanent deal after one season with the Rodez reserve side.

Youssouf, who holds both Comoros and French nationality and plays primarily as a right-footed central defender, arrives at Lucciana after gaining competitive experience across French youth and reserve competitions. He strengthens a back line that will look to draw on his substantial minutes at under-19 and under-21 level.

Before his switch to Lucciana, Youssouf had been with Rodez AF B since July 2025, having joined the club following a short spell without a team. Prior to that, he came through the youth system at OGC Nice, progressing from the U17s to the U19s between 2023 and 2024.

During his time in the youth ranks, Youssouf accumulated more than 30 appearances in Frances National U19 Group D, adding a single goal and featuring in domestic cup and international youth competitions, including the Premier League International Cup at under-21 level. His record reflects consistent selection and significant playing time rather than goalscoring contributions.

Youssoufs move to GC Lucciana marks the next step in his senior career, with the defender now tied to the Corsican side following the completion of his free transfer from Rodez AF B.
