Salah Bendrao: SV Kapfenberg sign Moroccan forward from AC Torrellano

SV Kapfenberg have signed Moroccan centre-forward Salah Bendrao from Spanish side AC Torrellano. The 25-year-old moves to the Austrian 2. Liga club in a completed transfer, joining the squad ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Bendrao, born in Casablanca in May 2001, arrives in Austria after spending the past two seasons in Spain. He joined AC Torrellano in August 2024 following a free transfer from Torrent, where he had moved earlier that year from Hercules CF B.

The strikers most recent competitive action came in Spains Segunda Federacion Group III, where he made 12 appearances and scored once. That spell provided his first sustained run at senior level after progressing through youth and reserve football in Spain.

Before establishing himself in the lower tiers of Spanish football, Bendrao came through the youth ranks at Elche and Murcia, later stepping up to senior competition with Independiente Alicante and Hercules CF B. His move to Kapfenberg marks his first club outside Spain.

The Morocco-born forward is expected to operate through the middle of the attack for Kapfenberg as they prepare for the new 2. Liga campaign. Bendraos transfer to SV Kapfenberg was completed on 8 July 2026.
