Juventus eye move for Udinese defender Oumar Solet in Serie A switch

Juventus are exploring a move for French-Ivorian centre-back Oumar Solet, who currently plays for Udinese, as they assess options to strengthen their defence.

The 26-year-old, under contract with the Friulian club until June 2027, has a market valuation of 23 million and has established himself in Serie A with Udinese after joining them in January 2025. His performances in Italys top flight, where he has made more than 50 league appearances for the club, have brought him to the attention of the Turin side.

Solet arrived at Udinese after leaving Red Bull Salzburg, where he won the Austrian league title three times and added an Austrian Cup triumph, while also gaining experience in both the Champions League and Europa League. That combination of domestic success and European exposure has helped raise his profile among leading clubs.

Born in Melun and standing at 1.92m, Solet operates primarily as a right-footed central defender and has also accumulated significant minutes in the Bundesliga earlier in his career, adding further top-flight experience to his resume.

With two years remaining on his Udinese deal, any talks over a transfer would be shaped by the Italian clubs position on a potential sale and Juventus willingness to meet their valuation.
