Ben Ahmed Kohili: MC Algiers sign young Algeria forward from Paradou AC in Ligue 1 move
MC Algiers have completed the signing of Algerian centre-forward Ben Ahmed Kohili from Paradou AC in a standard permanent transfer for the 2026-27 season in Ligue 1. The 20-year-old moves within the Algerian top flight with his market value currently listed at 450,000, although the fee for the deal has not been disclosed.
Kohili joins MC Algiers after progressing through the ranks at Paradou, where he was promoted from the clubs U21 side to the senior team in July 2023. His latest move, dated 7 July 2026, marks his first transfer away from Paradous structure and places him at one of Algerias most prominent clubs.
Primarily a centre-forward, Kohili is listed as an attacking player who operates through the middle and prefers his right foot. Standing at 1.74m, he adds a different physical profile to the MC Algiers frontline and fits the clubs recruitment from within the domestic league.
Born in Ain Temouchent on 11 July 2005, Kohili has developed entirely in Algeria and holds Algerian nationality. His rise has been reflected in his market valuation, which climbed sharply from 25,000 in mid-2023 to reach 450,000 ahead of his move to MC Algiers, underlining his growing status in Ligue 1.
After three years under contract in Paradous system, including senior football with the first team, Kohilis switch gives MC Algiers a young attacking option already accustomed to the demands of Algerias top division.
