Cédric Mabwati, the Congolese midfielder, played a key role for Real Betis Sevilla in their Europa League match against NK Rijeka. Mabwati scored a goal in the 14th minute, helping Betis secure a draw after their opponent took the lead with a goal from Benko in the 10th minute. The match ended with a 1-1 draw on the second day of the Europa League group stage. Mabwati had joined Betis Sevilla from Numancia in the Spanish second division in June.
