Mbappe pushes for Michael Olise to join Real Madrid

France international of Cameroonian descent, Kylian Mbappé is reportedly persuading his France teammate Michael Olise to join Real Madrid in the current transfer window.

As per reports, Mbappe has personally urged Olise, who has Nigerian roots to consider a move to the Spanish giants from Bayern Munich.

Olise’s future remains open-ended, with the midfielder expected to hold formal talks with Bayern Munich after the 2026 World Cup to clarify his long-term role at the club.

At present, the situation is still developing, with no final decision made and multiple factors influencing the player’s next step, including Bayern’s sporting project and Real Madrid’s growing interest.

Mbappe’s involvement is said to be driven by his desire to link up with top French talents at club level, with the Real Madrid forward reportedly viewing Olise as a strong tactical fit for the Spanish giants’ evolving midfield and attacking structure.

The French duo are currently focused on international duty with France national football team at the World Cup, where they have already progressed to the Round of 16, temporarily putting club matters on hold.

Despite that, speculation continues to grow around Olise’s future, especially with the possibility of a major transfer battle emerging once the tournament concludes.

For now, Bayern remain hopeful of retaining one of their key creative midfielders, while Real Madrid’s interest — reportedly encouraged behind the scenes by Mbappé — adds another layer of intrigue to an already developing transfer story.
