Bayern ready new Michael Olise deal to block Real Madrid move

Bayern Munich are preparing to offer Michael Olise an improved contract as they look to shut the door on Real Madrid’s growing interest in the French winger.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the German champions have no intention of selling Olise this summer and want to reinforce their control over his future with a fresh deal.

Club president Florentino Perez is said to view Olise as a potential next Galactico, but any move now looks complicated, with Madrid’s chances heavily dependent on the player’s own stance after the World Cup. Real are already juggling priorities, with Perez keen to first wrap up Vinicius Junior’s renewal once the tournament in North America is over.

Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace on 7 July 2024 on a five-year contract running until 30 June 2029, underlining how strongly the club already invested in him. He made his Bundesliga debut on 25 August 2024 in a 3-2 away win over Wolfsburg, starting on the right wing under Vincent Kompany, and netted his first league goal in a 4-0 home victory against Bayer Leverkusen on 14 September. With Olise now shining at the World Cup, Bayern’s push to extend his deal is as much about ambition as it is about protection.
