Al Ahly strengthen squad with double signing from ENPPI
Egyptian champions Al Ahly have completed the signing of forwards Aqtay Abdallah and Ali Mahmoud from fellow Premier League side ENPPI on long-term contracts.
The double acquisition continues Al Ahly’s efforts to bolster their squad ahead of the new season, with both players joining the Cairo-based club at the age of 23.
Centre-forward Abdallah arrives after impressing with ENPPI, where his attacking movement and eye for goal earned him recognition as one of the league’s promising young strikers.
His arrival is expected to provide additional competition in Al Ahly’s forward line as the club prepares for another demanding domestic and continental campaign.
Joining him is attacking midfielder Ali Mahmoud, whose creativity and versatility in the final third have made him one of ENPPI’s standout performers.
Mahmoud is expected to add greater depth to Al Ahly’s midfield options and provide further attacking support.
Al Ahly confirmed that both players have signed long-term deals, underlining the club’s commitment to investing in young Egyptian talent capable of contributing over several seasons.
The record African champions have been active in the transfer market as they seek to maintain their dominance in the Egyptian Premier League while strengthening their challenge for continental honours.
