Aurelien Tchouameni determined to stay at Real Madrid

Aurelien Tchouameni is reportedly not planning to leave Real Madrid this summer, despite growing speculation that he could be sacrificed to fund new arrivals under Jose Mourinho.

Journalist Pablo Gallego claims the French midfielder has no intention of pushing for an exit, even as his name features prominently in transfer rumours. Mourinho’s arrival has reshaped the conversation around Madrid’s midfield, with the Portuguese coach keen on a move for Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez and the club exploring potential sales to make such a deal financially viable.

Tchouameni, who has attracted strong interest from the Premier League, notably Manchester United, is now viewed internally as a possible sale rather than an “untouchable”, despite his importance over recent seasons. Even so, the former Monaco man’s priority remains clear: he wants to stay at the Bernabeu, provided he is guaranteed a prominent starting role in Mourinho’s plans.

For now, his focus is firmly on the World Cup, where he has been integral to France’s midfield as Les Bleus chase the trophy and look like outright favourites to win it. Any serious talks over his future are expected to be delayed until after the tournament, with Mourinho’s verdict set to be decisive.
