Kylian Mbappe urges Real Madrid to move for France teammate Michael Olise
Kylian Mbappe is reportedly doing his best to lure his France teammate Michael Olise to Real Madrid, as the pair light up the 2026 World Cup together.
El Chiringuito TV claims Mbappe has spoken to the Bayern Munich winger about swapping Bavaria for the Bernabéu, keen to link up at club level with a player he already trusts on the international stage. At the tournament, Mbappe has six goals, while Olise has matched that tally in assists, forming one of the most devastating attacking partnerships on show.
Madrid recently issued a statement denying any formal interest in Olise, stressing their respect for Bayern amid growing noise around the player’s future. Even so, the 24-year-old, who delivered a staggering 22 goals and 31 assists last season, is said to view Real as his preferred destination despite attention from PSG. A move this summer looks unlikely, with Madrid needing sales before funding major signings and Bayern insisting Olise is “untouchable”.
Olise joined Bayern from Crystal Palace on 7 July 2024 in a five-year deal running to June 2029, worth around €60m including add-ons. He debuted in a 4-0 DFB-Pokal win over SSV Ulm, coming off the bench to assist Kingsley Coman within two minutes, and scored his first Bundesliga goal in a 6-1 victory over Holstein Kiel.
